HR Meet 2012- Sucessfully Conducted.....
This year HR Meet 2012 was organized with the theme “Shifting Paradigm of HR”. The program was inaugurated by Secretary for Ministry of General Administration Mr. Pratap Kumar Pathak. This year’s HR Meet theme was “Shifting Paradigm of HR.” The program observed an overwhelming participation of over 200 participants from Nepal and abroad from different sectors. The major resource persons of the event were Mr. Mark Disney, COO of LCCI-Asia, Mr. Suhail Gupta from Ideas Management Consultants, India; Mr. Sohan Babu Khatri, CEO of 3H Management, Nepal; and Mr. Joseph B. Niroula NLP practitioner from Nepal. The major attraction of the events were overview session on lateral thinking and six thinking hats by Mr. Gupta. Similarly Mr. Niroula conducted a session on “Coaching for Peak Performance.” Further Mr. Khatri made a presentation on HR Analytics – Way to achieve Excellence. Mr. Mark Disney had his say on What should Human Resource Managers Expect. There were also presentations made by participants. Ms Farjana Quader from Pro-Edge Associates, Bangladesh presented on the topic Why do we need salary and benefits survey and analysis for compensation management? Similarly Mr. Kumar Joshi-HR Manager of The Year 2010 had a presentation on Human Resource Management in Nepalese context. Also Ms. Catrin Froehlich, from NBI had a presentation on Unlocking CSR Potential for HRM. On the same occasion the announcement of CG Foundation HR Manager of the year 2011 was done by Vice-President of Management Association of Nepal. A check of NRs. 50,000 was handed over to the title winner by Corporate Affairs GM Mr. Daniel Yonzan. The whole one-day workshop formally came to an end with a vote of thanks by Growth Sellers Chairman, Mr. Mohan Ojha. |
